Scaffold Hoist N81
This hoist is ideal for use on OB rigs, for example to assist camera crew lifting heavy
and valuable equipment on to scaffold towers.
In use, the hoist is deployed by mounting in the top of one of the scaffold standards.
It’s that easy!
Features
- Swinging jib - the spigot pivots in the scaffold tube - allowing equipment to be
hoisted well clear of the tower scaffold and then swung in safely and effortlessly over the guard-rail.
- Rope can be threaded to give one, two, or three to one purchase (shown right as three to one)
- The rope returns to the crew via a jockey wheel by the heel of the jib, thereby keeping the hoisting rope well clear of the load.
- Comes complete with tackle, which includes a large heavy duty ultra safe karabiner, and 30 metres of plaited rope
- Weighs only 10 Kgs complete with tackle
- Weatherproof - bright zinc plated jib, all other parts from stainless or plastic.
- 90 Kg working load (tested to 270 Kgs)(when used with British standard steel scaffold tube).
- Spigot fits both British and European standard scaffold tube.
