Leveller N40

This heavy duty leveller is normally fitted under a pan and tilt head in situations where the four bolt flat base on which the head would normally be fitted (for example Scaffold Mount N46 below) cannot be relied upon to be level. There are additional fixings for mounting direct to a camera base.

Mounting top and bottom is standard four bolt flat (3/8 B S Whitworth threads on 4 3/8 inch pitch circle diameter),
Maximum angle of tilt is 17 degrees
Use is made of four legs (instead of the not uncommon three) which can pivot around a central stem. This arrangement allows you to align the leveller in the direction of the shot and adjust "roll" without interfering with "pitch" and vice versa, and then lock off by further tightening the thumbscrews.
Corrosion free -black anodised heat treated aluminium alloy, stainless steel legs and fixings, acetal slippers.
Overall height is 100mm, Base dia 186mm
Weight 2.7 Kgs
Working load 100Kgs vertically (tested in worst case setup with the leveller on its side (base face vertical) and the 100Kg vertical load offset 1 metre horizontally).
4 bolt fixings are by stainless steel captive bolts which have a special dual head comprising a 3/8 whit hex surmounted by a 7/32 AF cap screw head, making rigging quicker and easier.
